Vice President Vance visits Walter Reed to honor veterans and support military personnel

U.S. Vice President JD Vance and second lady Usha Vance visited the Military Advanced Training Center at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, on Nov. 10, engaging with military personnel undergoing therapy.

The visit, occurring the day before Veterans Day, underscored the nation’s commitment to honoring those who have served in the U.S. military.

During their tour, Vice President Vance and Usha Vance spoke with Coast Guard Seaman Sam Kenyon as he participated in therapy sessions.

They also observed combat-wounded U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Carlos Evans performing physical therapy exercises.

Additionally, Vice President Vance greeted wounded U.S. Army combat veteran Ian Nugent, further highlighting the administration’s support for veterans and active-duty service members.
