CDC-RFA-DP-24-0139: Improving Adolescent Health and Well-Being Through School-Based Surveillance and the What Works in Schools Program

CDC announces the availability of Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 funds to implement CDC-RFA-DP-24-0139. The program is: Improving Adolescent Health and Well-Being Through School-Based Surveillance and the What Works in Schools Program.

The purpose of DP-24-0139 is to improve the health and well-being of our nation’s youth in two key ways. The program implements CDC’s What Works in Schools program and supports the collection and use of school-based surveillance data. The aim of the program is to:

  • Deliver high-quality health education.
  • Increase access to needed health services.
  • Create safe and supportive school environments

DP-24-0139 has an approach with three components:
