This award recognizes the dedication and innovation of the Dallas College team and shines a light on the real and lasting difference they are making in students’ lives.”

The Changemaker Award celebrates individuals who “have made remarkable contributions to reproductive health and wellness,” the press release said. “Each of the three honorees has gone above and beyond in their commitment to removing barriers, expanding access, and

Dr. Eribo is “a dedicated advocate and leader in reproductive healthcare” who has “helped expand contraceptive access and led training efforts to equip providers with the tools they need to deliver high-quality, comprehensive care,” according to the press release. “Beyond the clinic, Dr. Eribo is a mentor, a role model, and a champion for reproductive health.

She’s genuine, kind, and relentless in her mission to empower youth and improve health outcomes.”

The press release explained that the Rising Star Award recognizes “an exceptional individual, aged 30 or younger, emerging as a leader in adolescent health in Texas,” adding that Oliver’s “commitment to supporting minority male students at Dallas College has been deeply inspiring. His efforts not only advance adolescent health but also foster a culture of inclusion, leadership, and opportunity for young people who need it most.”

The press release also noted that Oliver’s “impact extends beyond his professional role” since he currently serves on the Healthy Futures of Texas Board of Directors, “bringing a powerful youth perspective to our leadership.
